Kirsteen was born in Waukegan, Illinois and grew up in Antioch, Illinois. After graduating from Illinois State University with a BS degree in Family in Child Community Services, she chose to further her education in biblical studies and received of Bachelor of Theology as well. Since sheis a lifetime learner, she has become a certified life coach who believes in the gift of life.
Kirsteen has had many opportunities to work in various capacities in the non-profit arena as an Executive Director, Fund Development Director and Community Relations Director. Most of her career has been spent serving seniors in social services, life enrichment programming, community liaison work and senior living advisement. Through these experiences, she has seen the importance of pre-planning. The families she has assisted have consistently expressed peace of mind once they have had this difficult conversation. One of the greatest tools she has provided for individuals and families is throught her presentation on the Five Wishes. She has worked as a community resource with the Pierce County Aging and Disability in presenting and providing the Five Wishes document to participants. She has presented to churches, retirement and assisted living communities as well.
